During our conversation with David Chaney, Sr., we explored some of the critical issues that Black men in America face today, including the challenge of fatherhood. David shared his personal journey as a father and the lessons he's learned about the importance of being present and engaged in his children's lives. He emphasized the critical role that Black fathers play in shaping the future of their families and communities and offered practical advice for those looking to strengthen their relationships with their children.
We also discussed the importance of avoiding a victim mentality and taking ownership of one's circumstances. David shared his own experiences with overcoming adversity and how his organization, the 100 Black Men, is working to empower Black men and boys to become leaders!
